Privacy policy
This page explains what IBRESE can and cannot see when you use the website, the public transfer list, the web wallet, and the phone app. Keys stay on your device. The chain itself is public.
Never type a recovery phrase or a private key into ibrese.com, wallet.ibrese.com, or any other page.
Who this notice covers
It covers ibrese.com, wallet.ibrese.com, the IBRESE Wallet app, and the requests your device makes to rpc.ibrese.com. Privacy questions: security@ibrese.com. Product questions: info@ibrese.com.
The website
ibrese.com is a set of static pages. There is no account, no sign-up form, and no advertising. We do not ask for your name, email, or phone number to read the site. Google Analytics (G-YLYQ0673BC) counts page views on ibrese.com. The wallet app does not include that tag.
Language on this site
If you pick a language, this browser stores that choice on this device under the name ibrese-lang. It is not an account and it is not uploaded as a profile. You can remove it by clearing this site’s data in the browser. The address may also show ?lang= so a link you share keeps the same language.
Connection logs
The site does not build a profile of what you read. The machine that serves the pages can still keep an ordinary connection log: the IP address of the connection, the time, the address requested, and the browser type. Those logs are for running and protecting the server. They are not used to sell a profile of you.
Public transfers
The transfers page reads the public chain from rpc.ibrese.com and lists payments: time, amount, fee, sender, recipient, block, and transaction id. That information is public by design, the same way a Bitcoin or Ethereum explorer shows payments. A search for an address or a transaction id is written into the page address. If you share that link, the address or the id travels with it. While the page loads blocks, the IP address of your connection is visible to rpc.ibrese.com for that request.
The wallet
The phone app and wallet.ibrese.com create and keep the wallet on the device you are using. IBRESE does not receive your 12 words, your private key, or your unlock password.
What stays on the device
The app stores the encrypted vault, wallet names, account names, and the language you picked, on the phone. The web wallet stores the encrypted vault and the language in that browser’s local storage. Clearing the app, or clearing this site’s data in the browser, removes those copies from that device. IBRESE does not keep a second copy of the vault.
Fingerprint and face unlock
If you turn on fingerprint or face unlock, the phone’s own system performs the check. IBRESE does not receive the fingerprint, the face, or a copy of either. Biometrics only release the vault that is already on the device. The password is still what protects the vault.
Clipboard
If you copy an address, the operating system holds that text in the clipboard until you copy something else. The wallet does not upload the clipboard.
What a node sees
To show a balance or to send money, the wallet asks a node. The default node is rpc.ibrese.com. A home node on your own computer can be used instead. The node you ask sees the IP address of the connection, the addresses you look up, and any signed transaction you submit. Once a transfer is in a block, the sender, recipient, amount, fee, and time are public on the chain. Anyone running a node, and the transfers page, can read them.
Email you send us
If you write to info@ibrese.com or security@ibrese.com, we receive the address you wrote from and the message you sent. We use that only to answer you. Visiting the site does not put you on a mailing list.
Starter IBR form
If you use /get.html you send your email and a public wallet address. That is used only to send 10 IBR once by hand. Recovery words are not asked for and must not be typed there.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal information. The website uses Google Analytics for page counts. There is no advertising kit. The wallet does not include an analytics kit. Using the site or the wallet does not require an IBRESE account.
A home node
A home node runs on your computer. Its identity files stay in the data folder on that computer. When it syncs, the peers it talks to can see that node’s network address. Do not paste the node’s private key into the wallet.
Changes
If this notice changes, the new text is published on this page and the date at the top changes. That date is the current version.
